Each year the success of The Catholic Service and Ministry Appeal depends upon the generous response of every Catholic household
It depends on you!!
Every dollar donated to The Appeal is restricted and supports only the work of 17 diocesan ministries
which serve thousands of people throughout southern Illinois each year.

Griffin Center, an agency that receives funding from The Catholic Service and Ministry Appeal, provides after-school and summer programs free of charge to 450+ chil-dren who live in public housing. With an emphasis on learning, homework assistance, computer labs and tutoring, Griffin Center gives these youngsters a chance for a brighter tomorrow. Be a part of their dreams and make your giftto this year’s Appeal today! Our parish goal this year is $6,301. At this point 18 do-nors from our parish have contributed a total of $4,655. Grateful thanks to all who can help us meet our goal and more importantly to reach out to needs within our diocese.

Blessed to receive, chosen to give The homebound, sick and seniors living in eight counties in the southernmost part of the state are assured they will have food to eat thanks for Daystar Community Program’s mobile food pantry, which delivers groceries on a regular basis to those not able to visit Daystar’s on-site food pantry. YOUR GIFT to the Catholic Service and Ministry Appeal makes Daystar’s truly life-saving ministry possible. Blessed to receive, chosen to give YOU have the opportunity to support the five young men who have answered “YES” to God’s call to serve in the Priesthood of Jesus Christ in our Belleville Diocese. The annual cost of each of our seminarians is approximately $47,000.00. Funding from the Catholic Service and Ministry Appeal helps support the expenses of our seminarians and Vocation Office; your pledge or one-time gift is truly an investment in our faith and the life of the Church here in southern Illinois Please continue to pray for vocations and consider making your gift today!
